  • Swift
    Dr. Swift

Dr. Lucia Swift was born and raised in Los Angeles County and has lived in Arcadia for most of her life. She was first introduced to chiropractic care in high school following a soccer-related knee injury and developed a deep appreciation for its effectiveness as she made a full recovery. This initial encounter sparked her interest, leading her to shadow a chiropractor throughout her time as an undergraduate. In 2019, Dr. Swift graduated from California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo with her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Minor in Psychology, laying a solid foundation for her future in healthcare. Due to her interdisciplinary background, she embraces a comprehensive and holistic approach to chiropractic, recognizing the intricate connection between physical health and mental well-being.

Continuing her academic journey, Dr. Swift pursued her Doctorate of Chiropractic with a specialization in Sports Medicine at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC) at the Southern California University for Health Sciences (SCUHS), graduating in 2023. She incorporates sports medicine techniques into her daily practice by prioritizing at-home exercises, stretches and physical activity education with patients while employing a variety of rehabilitative tools during appointments. During chiropractic college, she became an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) club. Through the ICPA club seminars she discovered her passion for supporting pregnant women throughout their pregnancy and postpartum with chiropractic treatment utilizing the Webster method. The Webster method is a gentle chiropractic technique focused on addressing lumbo-pelvic pain and discomfort related to pregnancy. After seeing its effects on pregnant patients firsthand during her time observing in clinic, she decided to complete Webster training and will be a certified Webster practitioner by late 2024.

  • Dr. KC
    Dr. KC

Dr. Kirsten Chanthavong was born and raised in the city of Whittier after her parents immigrated from the Philippines. She gained experience in human and health services working as a physical therapy aide for outpatient orthopedics, behavioral interventionist for individuals with special needs, and learned about medical office protocols as a front desk receptionist. After working long hours at a computer, she began having severe pain in her arm and neck which led to her first visit to a chiropractor. Her pain was nearly entirely resolved after only two sessions, and Dr. KC was inspired to explore chiropractic as a career.

Dr. KC earned her B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach in 2016, and later, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Los Angeles Chiropractic College of the Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2023. Dr. KC believes that the trifecta of chiropractic, physical exercise, and mental awareness can be the answer to chronic, life-inhibiting pain by targeting the cause of the problem and not only the symptoms. She prioritizes educating her patients on self-maintenance strategies in order for them to reach independence in the management of their pain conditions. Dr. KC utilizes chiropractic manipulative therapy, soft tissue therapies such as myofascial release, cupping, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and therapeutic and rehabilitative exercise in her treatment plans that are catered to each patient’s individual needs. When she is not in the office, Dr. KC enjoys spending time at the beach with her two dogs, Ekko and Ghost, going on bike rides with her husband, Henvy, and participating in different types of exercise including hiking, resistance training, and dancing.
